Joe is doing good, just waiting to hear back from the cardiologist! Hopefully he will get cleared to play baseball again before they head up to NY this weekend.
I had an exciting weekend with my mom in town!!! I was getting so home sick for some family so she came out to do a little bit of shopping and eating out. We had such a blast!!! We found a new national park about 20 mins west of DC that has a sweet water fall. Champ loved it and Joe was even skipping around. Just being outside was sooo nice!!! I also took my mom to a cupcake store, they happen to have a show on TLC called DC cupcakes. It was way good.

We brought some home for Joe but they didn't make it through the 85 degree day we had (back to more rain today)
I also bit out of the wrong cupcake, oops!
My mom is coming back out in 4 weeks from Thursday for joes graduation!!!! I seriously can not wait!!!! Family, fun and then the trek back to CA!!!

I've seen that show and always want to try those cupcakes!!! Were they so expensive? They look heavenly. :)
